What is MarathonMasters?

MarathonMasters is a Toastmasters club dedicated to helping its members become better speakers and leaders.  Guests are always welcome, so come by for a visit to see what we're all about.  We meet Thursdays at noon at YRC Freight located on the southwest corner of I-435 and Roe Ave in Overland Park.

With the skills learned from membership in the club, members are able to:

  • Better negotiate salary increases and promotions at their jobs.
  • Explain new concepts more easily and successfully to others.
  • Fill into those roles that require speaking ability, such as in giving a toast or a best man's speech at a wedding.
  • Present material in meetings at their jobs with additional confidence.
  • Move up the employment ladder into higher level leadership positions.
  • Improve their interviewing skills.
