What is MarathonMasters?

ToastmastersMarathonMasters is a Toastmasters club dedicated to helping its members become better speakers and leaders.  With the skills learned from membership in the club, members are able to:

  • Better negotiate salary increases and promotions at their jobs.
  • Explain new concepts more easily and successfully to others.
  • Fill into those roles that require speaking ability, such as in giving a toast or a best man''s speech at a wedding.
  • Present material in meetings at their jobs with additional confidence.
  • Move up the employment ladder into higher level leadership positions.
  • Improve their interviewing skills.

Aside from improving our members' speaking and leadership skills, MarathonMasters is also a great place to network with others, make new friends, and in general have some fun.  If this sounds like a place you would be interested in, we encourage you to come by for a meeting.  Guests are always welcome and can attend any meeting at no cost, and there's no obligation to join the club.  We believe that once you attend a meeting, you''ll want to come back for more.

We meet every Thursday except holidays at Webster University.  Webster University is located near I-435 and Holmes at 1200 E 104th Street.  Once you arrive, park in one of the visitor parking spots.  Our room is up the stairs, to the left, and at the end of the hallway.  Look for room 207 and our MarathonMasters banner outside the door.

If you have any questions, feel free to let us know.  Contact information can be found at the bottom of any page on our website.
